Chauffeured from Reims/Epernay train station to a B&B overlooking the vineyards which is owned by a champagne producer. Unwind in the champagne bar or lounge over a glass of
bubbles. Optional lesson with French tour guide on topical subjects and level (tailored to group).
Wake up to a light breakfast before meeting a Grand Cru champagne producer. You will be taken around the vineyard and hear about the region and history, in both
French and English, before heading to explore Hautvillers, the home of Dom Perignon. You will then be chauffeured to a family-run domaine where you will learn about the sustainable methods of champagne production. This will be followed by a champagne tasting and a light lunch. You’ll then head back to your B&B and have will have the opportunity to explore
the local area and have dinner.
Wake to a local breakfast where you will be encouraged to speak in French with your small group. Then to Epernay, a chocolate box town, brimming full of history. Stroll around the ancient town or hit the famous Avenue de Champagne, which is lined with some of the biggest champagne houses in the world. You will then be chauffeured back to catch your train/pick up your car.
