A beautiful house, the biggest of the 4 champagne houses in champagne we visited. Located on a hill, the views are the vines and the region are stunning. This would be fantastic for a luxury long weekend getaway Our favourite champagne was the Blanc de Blanc for easy drinking and Blanc de Noir for food. Very clean flavours and a great range of Champagnes. One of the most beautiful champagne houses in champagne
It is a beautiful house that is embracing organic made champagnes. Although they don’t have this on the label, they are proud to avoid pesticides and insecticides to make their Champagne much 'purer'. Perfect for Champagne tours France. Our favourite was the Blanc Zero - no sugar so very tart but great as an aperitif and on the waist line!
One of the activities R. Dumont & Fils host for visitors is to look at Renoir paintings while tasting the champagne to pick up the taste, sights and sounds of the picture in the champagne. Perfect get away for a champagne long weekend getaway.
Built in the 12th century by the Cistercian order to make and store wine. The cellars were beautiful, with huge arches that take the breath away. There is an original chapel, used by the monks when they were working there, away from their abbey. The Blanc de Blanc was a great celebratory drink for dinner. One of the most beautiful champagne houses in champagne. A must stop off in a champagne France wine tour.
From the outside, a suburban home. Yet once in the wine cellar is huge, more like a rabbit warren. They have a great variety of champagnes, including Champagne Camile Claudel - their vintage (a delight), a Blanc de Blanc and a mouth watering Blanc de Noir. Stunning. This place also has a fantastic hotel close by so perfect for the best champagne holidays and long weekend getaway.
